The Metal Shutter Houses by Shigeru Ban, his first project in US, brings a whole new meaning to the idea of seamless integration with the city.The 20-foot-tall windows pivot up and away, turning the living room into a massive terrace. And of course, what’s a Shigeru Ban project without paper/paper tubes. The undulating ceiling in Metal Shutter’s lobby is made of paper tubes. Read more at Wired magazine.
