KLDF’08: Are traditional construction materials such as timber and stone still relevant in modern buildings and urban development?
The Star - KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - Global design visionaries Kengo Kuma from Japan and Ben Van Berkel from The Netherlands will offer a peek into futuristic designs at the PAM 2008 architectural convention in Kuala Lumpur from July 3-July 5.
Organised by the Malaysia Institute of Architects (PAM), the annual event which includes the Kuala Lumpur Design Forum (KLDF08) will also have 13 international architects and designers presenting their ideas. It is expected to attract 1,000 architects and designers from around the region.
