Schneider Electric “Inspiration 2008″ Symposium to Focus on Solutions and Applications for Energy Efficiency and Brings Together a Panel of Experts

In line with its global vision, Schneider Electric Singapore Private Limited announces plans to host a comprehensive technical symposium “Schneider Electric Inspiration 2008: Energy Efficiency with Power and Automation”, to be held from 14th to 15th August 2008, at the Republic Polytechnic. The event will also showcase Schneider Electric solutions, applications and products that can effectively optimize energy utilisation.

This first-ever symposium will bring together business leaders and decision-makers from numerous industries, such as residential, commercial, industrial, data centers, water & wastewater treatment, oil
& gas, energy & infrastructure, and provide key decision-makers with practical and field-proven solutions to help manage, monitor, protect, distribute, automate, and control the use of electricity. More than
1,000 anticipated attendees would experience 20 educational seminars, interact with solutions displays, and learn from 4 large-scale customer case studies.

Winning entries from the Energy Efficiency Competition organised by Schneider Electric at the Nanyang Technological University will also be displayed. Prizes will be presented to the winners during the plenary session by the guest-of-honor, Dr. Amy Khor, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of the Environment & Water Resources.

In addition to the educational seminars, “Inspiration 2008″ will feature industry-specific exhibits, where customers can interact with Schneider Electric’s wide range of solutions via displays in the exhibition hall that will focus on applications and solutions for electrical power distribution, industrial automation & SCADA software, building automation and security, installation system & control (including home automation), critical power & cooling, energy monitoring & control systems.

Schneider Electric will also demonstrate real-life applications of its solutions through a series of industry-expert testimonials.
