In this engrossing EG talk, architect Liz Diller shares her firm DS+R’s more unusual work, including the Blur Building, whose walls are made of fog, and the revamped Alice Tully Hall, which is wrapped in glowing wooden skin.
Though her definition of Architecture appears thinly superficial, Liz Diller of Diller Scofidio + Renfro delivers her firm’s projects in a collected, intelligent fashion that at moments ellicits even applause from the audience. This talk, through the multi-layered architectures of DS+R, reminds us of what architecture could mean, say and do.
