The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) is a leading international partnership practicing contemporary architecture, urbanism, and cultural analysis around the globe. The office is led by six partners – Rem Koolhaas, Ole Scheeren, Ellen van Loon, Reinier de Graaf, Shohei Shigematsu and Managing Partner, Victor van der Chijs – and employs a staff of around 220 of more than 35 nationalities. Architects / Urban Planners – Rotterdam (NL), Beijing (CN), Hong Kong (CN), New York (US)
For various building projects and a major urban planning project in SE Asia, OMA is looking for experienced architects and planners. Applicants must have:
- Masters Degree in architecture or urban planning
- 5+ years experience in internationally renowned offices
- Superb conceptual, graphic and design talent or excellent knowledge and experience of urban planning
- Experience in early design phases such as Concept Design and Schematic Design
- Experience on large scale projects
- Hand drawing skills
- Fluent English required; Dutch, French or Chinese is a pre
- Deep knowledge of OMA’s work and confidence in a complex, international environment
- Strong AutoCAD, 3D Max, Rhino, Adobe Suite skills
