FIVEFOOTWAY is an online architecture magazine that counts architects, students and enthusiasts among its readers. Founded by Adib Jalal and Jia-Jun Yeo in June 2007, the website currently reaches the screens of architects, design students and industry watchers in Asia and beyond.
FIVEFOOTWAY have also initiated other projects such as the Magical Spaces Project and “Confessions of an Architect” in our efforts to further explore architecture. Other than self-initiated projects, we also collaborate with other partners resulting in projects such as Thinking about Cities- a MIT-NUS-FIVEFOOTWAY Workshop and Canteen Brick Down- an experimental video piece that was produced for the NUS Arts festival. We are also ardent supporters of the architecture industry, being the online media partner for Archifest-Singapore’s Architectural Festival since 2008 and also as regular contributors to SA magazine, a magazine published by the Singapore Institute of Architects.
FIVEFOOTWAY have also presented their works at Archifest 08 and was selected to represent Singapore at the Singapore pavilion,Venice Architecture Biennale 2008.
